The Furthr app formerly The Travel App is powered by brand new card-linking technology which turns your existing Visa or Mastercard into your own personal loyalty card. This innovative company based in Australia are changing the way companies reward their loyal customers by linking rewards directly to a users bank card when they spend. The card is linked to their Furthr wallet and users can watch as their saved cash builds up everytime they tap their card at the Furthr partner stores.
THE OBJECTIVE
The objective given to Perfutil by this client was to create an innovative product, utilising card linking technology that gave users the ability to earn money back on their normal everyday purchases.
The build included a user facing mobile app, a retailer web app and a system dashboard.
THE PROCESS
As a team we decided upon dedicating a lot of time to the research phase of this project. The UX team undertook a number of researching phases to maximise this period of discovery.
This resulted in providing the team with many options and features that travelers would find useful. The UX and Software Architecture teams then moved into design and development phase, where we produced a modern and fresh interface for this product that the clients were very happy with.

The Approach
For this project it was just as equally important to have a design that stands out as it was to have a good user experience in the background. The rising standards in design of 2019 meant that we had to create a distinctive and fresh look for this project.
The freshness of the blues that we chose mixed with the whitespace made the product easy on the eye and nice to use. In addition, the client highlighted the importance to have a stand out product in a busy industry.
